Update and New Kickstarter: Adventure Compedium

Hey Guys!

I want to give you two updates. First of course, the current status of the Dungeon Delver Cards. I reworked a few map tiles to make them look nicer (for example the entrance) and added more variety for the base tiles, so that is more than just a corner or a straight. When it comes to writing I am about to give off to our editor. While the editor and layouter doing their job, I will one by one finish the last remaning map tiles. Also we set up the backer's kit for the Dungeon Delver Cards.

We said mainly done, we are happy to announce that our next project for our D&D 5e audience just launched! The Dungeon Epics Adventure Compendium features 5 oneshots for just 5$ each! Five stand-alone 5e oneshots building an overarching story to piece together an ancient artifact. With all five adventures you have a great way to introduce new players and then directly guide them through a flavorful variety of different-styled stories: diplomacy, heist, dungeon crawl, riddles, and a massive climatic siege!

Status and Timeline

Hey Guys,

sorry for the late update. We were busy working on the project and confirming the rough timeline before posting this update. But first... thanks for your support! We appreciate it and looking forward with providing your with an exciting addition to your gaming repertoire.

Stretch Goals

In the last days of the funding period we really got some momentum going and unlocked more stretch goals. So let's talk about those first. Because the Kickstarter finished funding, we can't update the site anymore but here they are:

•  A Free Sticker. We will add a special sticker to each delivery for free!
•  Two Additional Map Tiles. Simple and straightforward, just like the other stretch goal. We create another two unique tiles for the deck.
•  More GM Table Entries. Bigger tables who doesn't love them? We still spent more time to come up with more entries.

Status and Timeline

We are currently in the phase of finishing the zine and map tiles. We got bullet points and notes for most of the stuff and now need to create nice sentences and paragraphs out of them. Roughly 2/3 of the map tiles are done. After we are done with the main chunk of the work and given things to the editor, we will also prepare Backerkit where you can update you pledge if you want to.

•  Writing: End of March.
•  Editing: Mid of April.
•  Layout: End of April.
•   Artwork and Map Tiles: End of Arpil.
•  Final Touches: Mid of May.
•  Printing: End of June.
•  Shipping: Mid of July.

Please note that those are just estimates. We currently don't foresee any delays and have coordinated that time schedule with the editor and layouter.

We'll keep you updated once we made some progress or there is something noteworthy to let you know about!

Fighting throught the Dungeon

Hey guys,

day by day we are progressing room by room deeper into the dungeon with a slow and steady progress. We unlocked the VTT Token stretch goal.  With that we provide some VTT tokens for what is applicable, as well as a Tabletop Simulator version to play in. Next step (apart from finishing up more map tiles ;-)), is creating a small "how to play" video. Keep your eyes peeled for that!

They are in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign for their horror compendium as addition to they already published core rule set. Their game is OSR-inspired, rules-lite, and setting agnostic, but you better see for yourself.

A Great Start!

Hey Guys,

We had a super nice start. We funded within 2 hours. We sold out all early bird pledges. We reached already three stretch goals. It really seems you like what we are present here. So, all I can say it: Thank you very much! You won't be disappointed, promise.

Let me tell you a bit about the stretch goals first:

•  Two Map Tiles. Straight and simple: we will create two additional unique rooms with random events.
•  More GM Table Entries. The GM Cards offer traps, social encounters, riddles, and terrain. These tables will now be bigger to offer more variation.
•  Scaling for Tier 3. We planned for scaling of tier 1 and 2 at the very basic. But now we will also think of a way for you to scale it for high level characters too!

Another nice info, we will update the Kickstarter page to feature a creator interview for those who like to hear us talking and get some more information. So, look out for that. Further, we are currently working on creating a Tabletop Simulator conversion for you test out the mechanic and get a feeling for how it plays. If any of you are proficient in LUA for the scripting, leave us a message in the comments or reach out to us to make it even better!
